Situated in central Germany not far from Eisenach and the Wartburg castle lies the Hainich National Park. With its over 7600 hectares of wood land it is one the oldest forests in Germany. To have a great look from above visit the 'Baumkronenpfad' in the 'Jungle in the middle of Germany'. Here the government has decided to let the forest grow without any human interuption.
